A tad bit off sequence here with my Thailand travel posts but thanks for bearing with me. After 72 hours in Bangkok, we flew down South to chase the Thai sun, hop from island to island and dwell on the bluest of waters. I never imagined a place with so many different shades of blue…
We skipped Phuket to try to avoid the tourist crowd and settled into our Airbnb in Krabi, but that doesn’t mean we neglected the surrounding islands. If I try my best to translate the southern islands of Thailand into words it’s this: ‘Twas a place that Alina Baraz’s voice always took me to – but it surpassed my expectations and was even more beautiful than I ever envisioned it.
I’m working on putting together a guide on navigating Krabi, but until that’s all wrapped up – check out the compilation of photos I took on film down below.
After putting this together, I’m so glad I decided to challenge myself and shoot in film during my time in Thailand. The islands are so photogenic, and I love how shooting in 35mm truly captured the raw colors.
This is as real as it gets.
Thanks for stoppin’ by.
